Behind the scenes: 30 years of family tradition at Hotel Daniel’s<\/a> in Hallbergmoos<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

Hotel Daniel’s has been located in the south of Hallbergmoos, where travelers can enjoy the pleasant suburban tranquillity despite the close proximity to Munich Airport, for 30 years. It is one of the Hallbergmoos hotels that immediately give you the feeling that someone has made an effort here. <\/p>\n\n

Rainer Feldkamp and Helga Held built it in 1993, right at the time when Munich Airport opened and Hallbergmoos was transformed into a hub for arrivals and departures. The couple then ran it themselves for more than 15 years, with the active support of Helga’s daughter Sandra Held. “I often helped out in our hotel during my law studies and loved it. That’s why I started an apprenticeship at the Kempinski in 1999 and worked there for ten years. In 2009, I then took over my parents’ hotel here in Hallbergmoos. Now they help me out from time to time,” recalls Sandra Held. <\/p>\n\n

Small hotel, great pleasure: cozy, individual and with great attention to detail<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

With a capacity of 25 hotel rooms, a personal approach to the most returning guests is quite natural. But at Hotel Daniel’s, special emphasis is placed on this: The entire hotel reflects the closeness to the individual. Each of the rooms has been individually and charmingly furnished with Italian-style furniture. The high quality standard is complemented by silk curtains in front of the windows, which open up a view of an idyllic panorama with a wide field landscape. The Italian style runs through the entire interior and high-quality silver cutlery testifies to the attention to detail. <\/p>\n\n

Whether short or long stay: Hotel Daniel’s welcomes all guests<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

In addition to the hotel rooms with their Italian ambience, Hotel Daniel’s also offers 13 apartments for long-term rental. These are particularly popular with employees of companies in the Munich Airport Business Park – especially if their work is temporary. The apartments are modernly furnished and designed so that nothing is lacking. “Employees often use them as temporary accommodation in the area until they have found their own place to stay near their workplace,” explains Sandra Held. <\/p>\n\n

The primary target group of the apartments can also be transferred to the hotel business: the majority of guests at the Hallbergmoos hotel are business people. They come here regularly either because of the proximity to the airport or because of the adjacent business park in Hallbergmoos. “After 30 years of family business, many of them have become regular customers. They enjoy the rural and slightly secluded atmosphere before they dive back into the hectic world of work. Most of them leave their car in the hotel’s parking lot free of charge for the duration of their business trip. They then use the shuttle service for the last ten minutes to the terminal,” says Held. Nevertheless, families can occasionally be found at the hotel. This often happens in connection with a visit to the nearby thermal spa or as a stopover on a longer trip. <\/p>\n\n

Indulgence made to order: tailor-made breakfast experience at Hotel Daniel’s <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

No matter which guest comes to Hotel Daniel’s: personal service is guaranteed. Before the coronavirus pandemic, it was also customary at Hotel Daniel’s to help yourself to the breakfast buffet in the morning. When Sandra Held decided to introduce \u00e0 la carte breakfast at the table instead, contacts were reduced as far as possible. “It started as a hygiene measure. But our guests were increasingly positive about the table service. So we kept it. It allows us to respond to individual wishes. And the interaction with guests also feels more personal and direct,” says the owner happily. Only the basics of cheese, jam, bread rolls and homemade fruit salad are already on the table. Everything else, such as egg dishes, is freshly prepared on request. The selection on offer is also fresh. “The advantage of being the sole manager of a small family-run business is my freedom of choice. I always go shopping myself and pay attention to seasonal offers. This means that the culinary offerings are constantly changing and it never gets boring,” explains Held. <\/p>\n\n

Polo and personal service in Hallbergmoos: Runa<\/a>‘s Hotel<\/a><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

If you are looking for cozy accommodation with history and charm, Runa’s Hotel in the municipality of Hallbergmoos is the right place for you. Located in the immediate vicinity of Munich Airport, the motto here is “small but nice”, with a focus on idyllic surroundings, tranquillity and individual service. Despite the connection to the airport a few kilometers away, the hotel is characterized by a relaxed atmosphere. But even guests who don’t like it so quiet will find something to do here: the hotel’s own polo academy offers the ideal place for a lively, sporting activity. <\/p>\n\n

The pandemic has thrown a spanner in the works of the 20-year hotel tradition<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

Formerly known as the RegentPark airport hotel, Runa’s Hotel has been run by the Kawamoto-Reinhardt family for over 20 years. In 2020, the RegentPark had to file for insolvency due to the coronavirus crisis. It quickly became clear to the Kawamoto-Reinhardt family that the hotel tradition should be continued. After a short bridging period at the Hallbergmoos hotel, during which a break was taken, an agreement was reached with the tenants: The Runa’s Hotel has reopened. The family made good use of the hotel break to renovate the rooms and bring them up to date. Today, Runa’s Hotel shines with modern and lovingly furnished rooms. It is not only the renovation that has brought a breath of fresh air to the hotel, but also some newcomers from other sectors. <\/p>\n\n

Personal contact and a family atmosphere are our top priority<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

Charm and relaxation are very important at Runa’s Hotel. The main reason for this is the family-run hotel and the personal approach to hotel guests. But the individual offers are also impressive: the Park-Sleep-and-Fly or Park-and-Fly make guests’ (onward) journeys easier. The shuttle service to the airport terminal saves vacationers a lot of time and energy. The Hallbergmoos hotel’s underground parking garage is available to every guest for short, long-term or long-term parking. Whether family atmosphere or shuttle service: the concept of the Hallbergmoos hotel is well received. Sustainability, regionality and individual service<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

The special sustainability concept of Runa’s is evident at breakfast. Guests can make a pre-selection via a form and decide what is served. Only the bread comes fresh from the bakery every morning. The restaurant also knows how to score points with a seasonal and small but fine menu. “You can enjoy Bavarian cuisine here. Especially in summer, the in-house beer garden invites you to enjoy Bavarian cuisine in a traditional atmosphere with cold drinks,” explains Kawamoto. The time management at Runa’s Hotel is as individual as the cuisine. Hotel guests can specify when they would like to have breakfast. The food then arrives reliably at the desired time. Kawamoto emphasizes: “It is important to us that guests feel comfortable – regardless of time pressure and stress. Personal and individual contact with each guest is most important to us. We have known many of our regular guests for years and are always happy to welcome them back.” <\/p>\n\n
