The AIRPORT BUSINESS CENTRE (ABC) is a modern office building and conference center in the immediate vicinity of Munich Airport and in the direct catchment area of the Munich economic region. It has been home to international high-tech, software, multimedia and management companies since July 1994. The building complex combines all the high-quality structural and technical facilities needed for efficient and cost-effective business processing, communication and conference activities. The ABC is located on a large site surrounded by extensive green areas. The campus consists of an office building, conference center, lounge, cafeteria, company restaurant, parking garage and visitor parking. With state-of-the-art technical equipment, the office building meets all contemporary requirements in terms of ergonomics and communication options and thus offers optimum working conditions. All rooms at ABC are equipped with cavity floors and in some cases with a brush duct system. The offices are equipped with an individually adjustable heating and cooling ceiling system, which is operated with groundwater and heat pumps in an extremely cost-effective and environmentally friendly manner. A new energy-saving lighting system has been specially developed for the lighting in the rooms, enabling glare-free work on screens for the first time. The ABC has its own emergency power supply. A connection to the uninterruptible power supply is possible. The connection to the fiber optic network guarantees high-performance workstations. The ABC also has a goods elevator that can carry up to 2.5 tons. The modern conference center integrated into the building complex is designed for flexible use: The size of the individual conference rooms and their technical equipment can be adapted to individual requirements. The multi-storey parking lot with 745 parking spaces is easily accessible from the administration building via the casino/conference center by means of a glass passageway, regardless of weather conditions
