The Sky is the Limit: Relaunch of the SKYGATE business campus in Hallbergmoos

Central, transparent, flooded with light – these are the attributes of the SKYGATE office campus in the Munich Airport Business Park (MABP). Under the management of the Grünwald-based project development company, the business campus, which was originally built in 2002, is currently undergoing extensive renovation and modernization work. The relaunch, which includes energy and cosmetic modernization as well as a complete overhaul of the corporate identity, should be completed by mid-2019. The latest coup: the owners have staged an airplane in front of the building to match the name. Why is the property being extensively renovated? So that local companies and employees are even better off.

SKYGATE’s current tenants include companies such as Air France – KLM, Avon Cosmetics, Bentley Motors, Trend Micro and Vestel as well as the consulting firm McKinsey & Company and Lufthansa. Word has gotten around about the quality of the areas. Following the recent conclusion of a major rental agreement, only around 15,000 square meters of space is currently available for rent, with rental agreements for around 10,000 square meters already under final negotiation.

“As our new landmark – the Skygate plane – already symbolizes, we are striving for new horizons with SKYGATE, which is just a few minutes away from Munich Airport, in line with the motto ‘the sky is the limit’ and look forward to many existing and new tenants coming on board with us after the relaunch,” explains Christian Lealahabumrung, Managing Director of Rock Capital Group.
