Hekuma GmbH, based in the Munich Airport Business Park (MABP), has received the “Family Lion” award for a particularly family-friendly large company. With this award, the CSU’s SME Union honors companies that make it possible to reconcile family and career, care for children and relatives in need of care, integrate older employees and offer flexible working hours in a special way. Hekuma is now the third Hallbergmoos-based company to receive this award.
Specializing in high-performance automation of injection moulding processes, Hekuma GmbH was founded in 1974 and today employs 184 people and 32 trainees. The company offers attractive benefits for young families in particular, ranging from flexible working time models and company vacations at Christmas, to part-time work or paid leave after parental leave, to covering the costs of daycare places. Such benefits are a good way for companies to attract well-trained specialists and retain them in the long term.
