In 2019, Sirius Facilities GmbH purchased the 18,000 square meter building complex in the Munich-Airport Business Park. The property was completed in 2021 following various conversion measures. In addition to conventional office space, the First Choice Business Center Munich Airport also offers day offices and coworking spaces. Doris Fichtl explains: “We started with a convincing concept that goes beyond offering and renting out normal office space. Unfortunately, the coronavirus pandemic threw a spanner in the works at first. But we are now noticing that demand for office space is growing again.”
Everyone can now live and work without a mask again. But Doris Fichtl and her team in Hallbergmoos have not let the pandemic affect them. Fichtl: “Last year, we offered coworking spaces for 9 euros a day, similar to the 9-euro Deutsche Bahn ticket. The offer was very well received, especially by students from Hallbergmoos, Freising and the surrounding area. People simply wanted to get out of their own four walls. To meet other people and have a chat. Coworking spaces are the perfect place for this.”

Fichtl: “A Lithuanian HR manager once met with his HR colleagues from Portugal for a few hours at our office before they flew back home. The proximity to the airport and the service are well received”. The latter also includes the hotel’s coffee and tea flat rate, its own candy bar, the option of ordering pizza – prepared in the hotel’s own pizza oven – as well as a dog station with food and water bowls for four-legged friends and a children’s area designed to make life easier for working parents with small children. The offer is rounded off by an Amazon Locker for any online orders and soon also a view of the new artificial and sustainable surf wave from SURFTOWN MUC. Fichtl: “Hallbergmoos is the perfect location for working. Whether it’s a walk in the countryside or a unique surfing experience: there are no limits here, not only when it comes to the office, but also in terms of leisure activities”.
Rental options at the First Choice Business Center Munich Airport
Tenants of the property can opt for a daily, weekly or monthly pass for coworking in Hallbergmoos. They then have access not only to the premises in Hallbergmoos, but also to workspaces at other locations such as Essen, Frankfurt am Main, Neuss or Wiesbaden if required. Front Desk Manager Andreas Herrmann and his team can also provide secretarial services on request. Those who prefer to work alone can also book a day pass for an office. The lounge areas and kitchen can of course also be used. Herrmann: “It is important to us to provide people with space and optimum service for the growth of their companies. We prefer to see the customer journey of a start-up that starts with a coworking space, needs a single office at some point and then grows so big that permanent offices are needed.”
